Batman: Arkham Asylum Arrives August 25

Rocksteady's stealth-action take on Batman's adventures within the Arkham mental institution will hit North American retailers on August 25, publisher Eidos said today.

All three editions of Batman: Arkham Asylum--PC, PS3, Xbox 360--are due at that time.

The European edition will arrive a few days later, on August 28. The game was originally due in June, but was recently pushed back into the vague "late summer" timeframe.

I want to see how this game runs on my geforce 9800GTX+. This game runs on the UE3 so I expect good performance without sacrificing visual quality.

I'm very pumped for this game. Any word on any multiplayer of any sorts? I want to buy it but i'm sure it's 8-10 hours of just online play.

This game looks fantastic! I hope this game rocks and it's the birth of another really great studio. If it does rock there will no doubt be a Part 2. I saw someone playing the demo and it looked incredible in real life. They weren't button mashing, at least it didn't seem like it. They were hooking move after move as Batman seamlessly went from one attacker to next chaining move to move. I thought it was a revolution of sorts in multi-attacker gaming. Anxiously waiting for this to arrive!
