Early Trailer for Team Ico's 'Project Trico' Leaked?
by Nick Breckon, May 19, 2009 6:12pm PDTWhat is likely an early bit of footage from Team Ico's next project--a work apparently known as "Project Trico"--has leaked by way of PlaystationLifestyle.net.
The video shows a game that blends the companion-based gameplay of Ico with a massive rat-like creature reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus. This combination has previously been hinted at by Team Ico leader Fumito Ueda.
"[Team Ico's new project] might be something similar to what's been done," said Ueda at this year's GDC. "Kind of a middleground... the essence of the game is rather close to Ico."

I never played Ico or shadow of the colossus, but I know quality when I see it.
I just wish more developers would go this route, more emotional connection, which of course requires excellent animation, but yeah. damn. This looks good.

Jesus people, where are you all coming from? You owe it to yourselves to play this. It's an awesome game both in presentation and gameplay.
