Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Trailer Cautions That 'People Are Gonna Freak Out'

"I think the idea of games coming out of movies is a great addition to the movies themselves," says Robert Foxworth, the in-game and movie voice of Autobot Ratchet.

"It's gonna be amazing when this game comes out, like, people are gonna freak out,"

added John Di Maggio, who voiced Sideways for the game. "Wah-ra-rah," he noted.

The movie-inspired game hits PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and PSP on June 23.

They're probably too close to the project. I'm sure they really ARE proud of it.

But then again MOST developers and artists are proud of the work they've poured their soul into day in and out for a year or two (or twelve). Same with movies.

It's like a baby. Every baby is the greatest in the world, to their parents, until someone leaks a photo of the ugly little demon spawn in a forum and people start photoshopping dicks hanging from its eyes.

Anyone who claims people are going to freak out about a video game is doing PR work for somebody. And bad PR at that. What a stupid claim. I have loved gaming all my life and can never recall ever freaking out over a game. If anything this lowers my expecations. I bet there is nothing that innovates gameplay not already seen in other games. It will be like the first. Just a run of mill average or below average game.
