Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Coming to North America
by Chris Faylor, May 18, 2009 12:48pm PDTAgainst all odds, crossover Wii fighter Tatsunoko vs. Capcom will be released in North America, publisher Capcom has confirmed.
The Wii fighter, which sees characters from Capcom's various franchises facing off against those of animation studio Tatsunoko, arrived in Japan last year. An overseas release was thought to be near-impossible due to licensing issues, as international rights for the various animated Tatsunoko series are held by a variety of different companies.
Word that the game was finally coming to North America emerged in the most recent issue of Nintendo Power, with Capcom tweeting the "cat is officially out of the bag."
No word yet on when the game may hit, or what changes it may undergo in the North American localization. The original Japanese version pulled characters out of everything from Street Fighter and Mega Man to Gatchaman / G-Force and The Genie Family, which is perhaps better known in Europe under the localized title "Bob in a Bottle."

I was gonna imported it but the language barrier was in the way, now I can buy some arcade sticks for it, and it better have online mode!
Of course, if that was swapped out for PHoenix Wright, I'd be a bit less pissed about it.
