Dead to Rights Environment Fly-bys Invite Imagination

This fly-by video of the gritty, noir-esque locales in Volatile Games' Dead to Rights: Retribution (360, PS3) looks pretty slick. But it begs the question: what would it look like to shoot guys in this city?

I wish Left 4 Dead looked like that. Creepy smoke and red-lit corners, fat drops of rain and interesting displacement/ reflection maps. As much as I play and love L4D, it's kind of cartoony compared to say, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
