Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes Exceeding Box Width This September

LucasArts and Krome Studios have announced a new co-op, family-friendly Star Wars game in Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes.

The lengthily-named action title, based on the Clone Wars TV series, will include 30 unique missions for up to two players to battle through as either Jedi or clone troopers.

Republic Heroes hits the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Wii, PlayStation 2, PSP and Nintendo DS on September 15.

Either this should be done as a Lego title instead (which would reek in the money, and my sons would love it to death), or they should do a real Outcast or Tie Fighter modern game.

I hate that EVERY Star Wars game out now is only about the Jedi.

Where's Battlefront 3?
Where's Republic Commando 2 (with 4-player co-op pretty please)?
Where's a new Dark Forces game?
What about Bounty Hunters? or Smugglers?
WHAT ABOUT X-WING VS TIE FIGHTER???

Star Wars games used to be great not just because they were filled with Laser Sword wielding Demigods, but because it was an interesting and well fleshed out world.
