So is this still going to be like a 3D Baldur's Gate type RPG or will it be more action oriented like a third person Morrowind.

Baldur's Gate style as far as I know. Is it just me or are some of the textures in these screenshots a little behind in the quality department? And also, the "new direction" shown in the trailer has me ambivalent about the game when before I was sure I would be buying it.

Eh, any specific examples? I think the art and textures for the characters are well done. There is one screenshot where the armpit area of clothing is poorly jointed but that's so minor.

To be honest though, I'm one of those gamers where realistic graphics needs to only go so far. For example, CoD4's realistic graphics is enough to satisfy me and anything above that is just gravy.

        Looks pretty kick-ass to me.

Yeah, the "new direction" was a huge bucket of cold water thrown on my e-erection for this game. Now I'm not convinced this won't be a shallow hack n' slash RPG and nothing like the old BG games. People cheer Mass Effect, but it was pretty shallow compared to older BioWare titles.

I think you get a choice of perspectives.
