"On Tuesday 14th April 2009, Ascaron Entertainment GmbH, Germany, went into administration at the regional court in Bielefeld, Germany."
I only vaguely know what "Administration" means, but from the context it seems they are in a poor financial situation. Although they assure their customers that Sacred 2 servers will continue to function, who knows if thats true, or if patches/DLC will continue to be developed. Personally, I'll be avoiding Sacred 2, at least while the price is ~$50 USD [on steam].
