Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad Announced
by Alice O'Connor, May 04, 2009 9:25am PDTTripwire Interactive--developer of Killing Floor and Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45--has announced Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad in a barebones low-key statement.
Word of the game leaked out with a preview in the latest issue of PC Gamer, earlier than Tripwire anticipated. The studio promises a proper PR effort will soon begin in earnest.
All Tripwire officially states for now is that it has been developing Heroes of Stalingrad for three years, and that the game is built upon Epic Games's Unreal 3 engine.
We would wager that this latest in the World War 2 tactical shooter series will be released on at least the PC, and that the Soviet city of Stalingrad is involved somehow.

Which kind of pisses me off, because I think there's a lot better infantry-only maps that nobody seems to be playing...
So yeah, I'm pretty hyped to see them release a new one, one can only hope they didn't go soft on us. Also, please don't let it be Stalingrad-only, I love the G-43 and StG-44 too much...
