Borderlands Screenshots Continue Style Explosion
by Nick Breckon, Apr 30, 2009 12:09pm PDTHere's another look at the new art style for Gearbox Software's Diablo-meets-Halo shooter Borderlands. Once an interesting concept wrapped in a somewhat straightforward presentation, Gearbox has certainly carved some character into the title with the recent palette swap.
Borderlands is scheduled for release later this year on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

My god, that guy's knee... That's too much. It can still fit stylistically with the rest of the game and not fold up like a broken useless limb.
It's probably not something you'll notice much while you're playing, but still, hopefully they can fix stuff like that before release.

Just goes to show how much of a graphics whore I really am. I have no idea if this game will be fun, but I'm psyched about the game now.

Ruined it for me too.
Co-op open world FPS with procedurally generated randomized loot = awesome!
