Shack PSA: Left 4 Dead 24-hour Free Trial Coming to Steam This Friday
by Nick Breckon, Apr 29, 2009 4:40pm PDTValve today announced that it will run a 24-hour free trial for its popular multiplayer shooter Left 4 Dead this Friday.
The trial will begin on Friday at 12:01 am GMT (8:01 pm EDT Thursday), and will include the recent Survival pack content. Those interested can pre-load the content ahead of time on Steam.

Just enable free weekend preload A WEEK before it happens to allow everyone to a) HEAR about it, and b) get ready.
3Gb isnt a quick download for most people. With lives.
That said, I already have L4D, so, you know, whatever.
