Guitar Hero World Tour's May DLC Revealed
by Chris Faylor, Apr 29, 2009 7:37am PDTWith the end of April signaling the end of the known Guitar Hero World Tour DLC schedule, publisher Activision today issued a list of the downloadable tracks that PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii owners can expect during May.
- Ferret/Metal Blade Track Pack (Free) - May 7
- The Devil Wears Prada - "Dez Moines"
- Chimaira - "Broken Glass"
- Unearth - "Grave of Opportunity"
- P!nk - "So What"
- OneRepublic - "Stop and Stare"
- Angels & Airwaves - "Everything's Magic"
- In Flames - "Disconnected"
- Housse de Racket - "Oh Yeah!"
- Cody ChesnuTT - "Look Good in Leather"
Pop Rock Track Pack ($5.50 / 440 MS Points) - May 14
European Track Pack Vol. 5 ($5.50 / 440 MS Points) - May 21
Each track will also be available individually, with premium-priced songs going for $2 / 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points. As the Wii does not support DLC bundles, the slight savings of the discounted bundles will only be available on PS3 and Xbox 360.

GH may have the numbers, but there's a reason why RB will keep getting my dollar in the DLC department. They've had weeks where they've released as many songs as GH does in a month. You don't have to buy them all but there's a much wider selection of material *and* a lot more likely "hits". I suspect there's more here of being pressured to put out music to help showcase it (the official press release ties each of these with a significant recent release), but you can also put out more tracks too.
