Madden NFL 10 Gets Cover Athletes, First Trailer

EA Sports today announced the cover athletes for Madden NFL 10, while also releasing the first footage of the game that arrives on August 14.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu will both have their careers simultaneously ruined by appearing on the infamous cover of the football title.

Click through for the footage, including a glimpse of the new Wii art style. Remember, the Wii edition is billed as having a "genre-defining art style" that "epitomizes what fun looks like on the Wii."

How is this Madden NFL 10? It's been around for 20 years going back to the Apple 2 days, and been on consoles since (iirc) at least '92. What does the 10 represent?

I remember when videos used to work all the time on the shack. These days it seems like a pretty common occurrence that videos are broken.

I really wish they would of put the 4 guys that lost their lives out to sea on the cover. A. Would be a nice gesture, and B. They're dead, curse can't affect them.
