Velvet Assassin Gone Gold, Hits Next Week
by Chris Faylor, Apr 22, 2009 1:53pm PDTReplay Studios' stealth-action video game take on the real-life WWII exploits of British agent Violette Szabo will has gone gold, publisher SouthPeak has announced. In celebration of the accomplishment, a handful of new screenshots were provided.
With Velvet Assassin now in manufacturing, the publisher noted that the PC and Xbox 360 title will ship to North American stores on April 30. However, several retailers currently list the game as shipping out a few days earlier, on Tuesday, April 28.

I just remember this from when I browsed GoneGold.com before I came to the Shack. So did they just go gold and can manufacture quickly (boxes, manuals, and such are usually done well in advance) or are they announcing it a little late? I'm more inclined to believe the latter.
