Left 4 Dead DLC Hits Xbox 360 Early Tuesday Morn, Should Release on PC 'Later in the Day'

Release dates? They're okay. But release hours? Much better. Thankfully, Valve has decided to indulge us, providing more details as to when Left 4 Dead will be updated.

The free Survival Pack DLC arrives on Xbox 360 tomorrow "at roughly 2am PST," bringing the fast-paced Survival mode to zombie-killers alongside the long-awaited addition of the Dead Air and and Death Toll campaigns to Versus.

PC owners will have to wait, but, assuming all goes to plan, not for long. According to Valve, the PC debut of the free add-on is "targeted for release later in the day."

The girlfriend still does not want to play although new versus maps, new game mode and SDK is going to appear. Any other ideas to convince her?

She has motion sickness, hates zombies/shooting and gets scared really easily. But I need her to play L4D with me!!! Maybe waterboarding will help or possibly an engagement ring? Which is better?

Valve is really pushing the boundaries of what developers can get away with. No one who purchased this game at release thought it would take this long to open the second half of the game. That being said, Valve makes pretty good games and I'm willing to put up with their behavior.

As much as I loved L4D when it was released, the shine soon faded after playing all the campaigns multiple times on various difficulties.

VS mode kept it alive for a bit longer, but soon it just became repetitive.

I really hope this upcoming mode spices up the gameplay for me, I've been feeling bad about neglecting this game for so long.

I wonder if L4D will see a sale during release or upcoming weekend sale. Some people I know want to play but won't pay full price and the DLC is another boost to get them to buy. (I guess they want more for less)
