Evening O'Reading

What do you want--blood? Well I'm sorry, because all you're getting is an assortment of news items and mild ramblings. Sadly my quest for cephalopod representation has thus far gone ignore by the video games industry, but rest assured I shan't rest until the betantacled can at long last the raise their squishy appengades to the sky in victory, having earned the right to be shot indiscriminantly by roving bastard adventurers.

The not resting part certainly is true, at least. It's Thursday April 16--this is the news:

Equivalent new desktop replacements laptops, that gateway one comes to mind but it doesn't have BR, goes for $1300.

      I think $850 tops.

Hrm, I was thinking more along the lines of $1000-1100. It has a much higher res then the Gateway, has blu ray, and is built by a better manufacturer (Sager), plus it has 1.5 years of the warranty left (.5 years from Sager, additional year from the reseller).

You can probably sell it near retail, then.

I always find people to buy laptops at about 80%+ of retail for some reason.

Well 80% of the $1300 mentioned above (though that's for a slightly inferior laptop) is right in the price range he mentioned there.

vista 64 is a wonderful os, about as much of an upgrade to w7 as between the major OSX releases.
