Shack PSA: Crysis Wars Free Through April 17

Crytek today announced that its Crysis-derived multiplayer game Crysis Wars will be free to play through April 17.

To participate, grab the four-part trial client, install the 1.4 patch, and follow the instructions at mycrysis.com to generate a CD-key.

The trial serves as a hook for the upcoming Crysis Maximum Edition, a compilation of Crysis, Crysis Wars and Crysis Warhead. The pack will sell for $40 beginning May 5.

i just cant get into this game's multiplayer, people keep playing same horrible maps, i cant recall their names and the "conquest" mode is terribly not fun, Wish it was more like Quake Wars type of mod.

Good idea opening the free weekend a week from the files release, unlike some shit on Steam that is 10Gb and cant even be preloaded before a set in stone release date.

Hah, got this game yesterday, it's alot of fun. I played it too much I think, I started TF2 afterwards, picked heavy, and constantly tried to activate maximum speed with my middle mouse button and holding shift to sprint :p
