So you skipped class this Friday to escape into the world of video games--only to find Demigod lead designer Mike Marr pulling you back in for an introductory course on the GPG/Stardock-developed RTS title.

At least it's just a video. And the quiz is still a few weeks off--Demigod stomps onto the PC battleground April 14.

This trailer was just boring. The dev. commentary just masked out all the sounds, they hardly zoomed in, etc.

still kinda 50-50 on this.. me and my friends used to play dota on lans, this looks pretty good but only 8 heroes is the main problem.. is it me or is the map small also, or might be lot of stuff in the way, though better to have shorter games then was in dota :P

perhaps the WORST game I have ever played.

DO NOT FUCKING PLAY THIS GAME. several of us bought the beta and it is a complete joke. there is absolutely nothing they could do to save it. the pacing and actual gameplay is just pathetic. in addition, there are 8 heroes - it is NOTHING like DotA.

first magazine article i saw on this prob 18 months ago, I was Very excited but its passed.... the game does not look fun, it doesn't appear that you do much at all. the health bar on his 'hero' wasn't going down at all when the little dudes were attacking him.

fight through hordes of uncontrollable minions to get to a base... bleh

Didn't really know much about this game except that it existed. Now they have this very simple breakdown of gameplay which is a good video idea. However I don't think this game is for me, just looks slow and bland

Starcraft 2 Terratron transformation.

I had seen it in screenshots but not in video. It's pretty awesome. Too bad it won't be in the game. Maybe in a custom map..

Also, that city map is really nice looking. I hope they keep skyscrapers like that.

Its DOTA!

Not that I like Dota, but, it's good to see a gameplay mechanism created by a third party independent team be used in a AAA title. GO GAME MODDING!
