Not only does our first proper look at Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 introduce us to resident protagonist Ryu, but we also get a glimpse of Ayane and Momiji. Sure, both have appeared in previous Ninja Gaiden games, but in Sigma 2? They're playable.

The enhanced PlayStation 3 port of last year's Xbox 360 action game also packs a new online mode that allows players to partake in specializes challenges. Expect to see Sigma 2 this fall, courtesy publisher Tecmo and its internal Team Ninja studio.

      Watching the trailer, I will have to pick this up. It looks like there's enough content to justify it to a big NG fan like me. Personally, it'll be great to have both. the X360 original version as Itagaki envisioned for his Tecmo swan song and this new one with all that new content. Both will be great to have in my collection.
