Guitar Hero World Tour Coming to PC, Mac

Neversoft's multi-instrument music game Guitar Hero World Tour will arrive on PC and Mac this summer, series owner Activision and porting studio Aspyr announced today.

Screenshots of the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions.

The PC and Mac editions will sport the same content found in the already available console versions, including the 86 on-disc tracks, the music studio, and support for guitar, bass, drum and vocal play. No mention was made of downloadable content.

It's not the first time that Aspyr has brought Guitar Hero to the PC, as the company has previously worked on the late-arriving Guitar Hero 3 and Guitar Hero Aerosmith ports.

How well do these rock games translate to PC's? Not the quality of the game but this seems like it would be nice for people who have their rig hooked up to their TV in their family room.

- GH3 PC works extremely well even on my 24" 1920x1200 monitor. Even with my smaller 1600x1200 20" it work... : TerranUp16

huh.. didn't see that coming, is nice to see since am a PC only player pretty much (only have a PC, had very litle reason to get a console) not sure if will buy this or not, would wanna rock out for sure and loved guitar hero 3 on pc (played it alot with my friend), mainly not sure cause it's gonna cost alot.
