BioShock 2 Getting Simultaneous Release
by Nick Breckon, Mar 20, 2009 1:03pm PDTEasing the minds of PC and PS3 gamers, 2K has confirmed plans to launch BioShock 2 simultaneously on all of its platforms.
The sequel to 2K Boston's underwater shooter is set for a PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 launch this fall, according to CVG.
The original BioShock was released on PC and Xbox 360, with a PlayStation 3 port coming more than a year later.
Gamers have also been burned recently by a spate of minor delays to PC versions of multiplatform titles, as in the case of Prince of Persia, Dead Space, Tom Clancy's HAWX and others.
