Godfather 2 to Receive Release Day Multiplayer Patch
by Maarten Goldstein, Mar 18, 2009 4:56am PDTElectronic Arts today announced that a release day patch will be waiting for The Godfather 2 when the game hits stores next month.
The update will introduce Don Control, adding a birds-eye view to the game's four multiplayer modes. As the Don, you will be able to recruit other players to join your family, giving them a cut of your profits. You can then go against other players to win the money they gained in the singleplayer campaign. Should you lose, any money you placed on the game will be removed from your singleplayer account.
The Godfather 2 will be released for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 April 7.

Plus they'd have a "suit up" costume pack DLC for the characters that would cost 100msp each and give you new suits to wear!
Boy I wish Capcom was in charge of this one...[/sarcasm]
If sales data shows that players prefer to buy complete games, this will encourage them to finish their products before shipping.
