Solid Snake Voice Actor Forms Dark Hero
by Nick Breckon, Mar 16, 2009 11:21am PDTWatchmen co-writer David Hayter, also known as the voice of Solid Snake to gamers, has co-founded a new development studio with the goal of producing a wide range of media--including video games.
Producer Benedict Carver (Bratz, Doomsday) has teamed with Hayter to create the company, which will develop "film, TV, Internet and video game projects in the action, sci-fi and horror genres," according to Variety.
The studio's first project will be "Demonology," a film about a student attending an international high school in Belgium. Hayter will write and direct the movie, which was influenced by his time spent in an international school in Japan.
"It's about an American kid who goes to one of these schools in Belgium, but it brings my own horrible experiences of school to life," said Hayter.

I think Metal Gear could be a good candidate to vindicate the video game movie genre once and for all. We need one really good VGM to forget all the bullshit we've seen before the genre is forever destined to getting mocked.

I'm not sure how the weird monsters would help the film though, having psycho mantis is pretty out there, but greyfox woudl be a neat storyline, I think raven and sniper wolf are believable, and metal gear rex as well
damn cmon make this film
