The Beatles Rock Band to Include Unreleased Material

The upcoming Beatles-themed Rock Band game will feature never-before released material from the legendary band according to Dhani Harrison, son of Beatle George Harrison.

Harrison said that the anticipated rhythm game will include "stuff that has never been heard, never released" in a recent Billboard interview noticed by Destructoid.

"I took the project to Apple and sort of convinced everybody to have a presentation," added Harrison. "We've been working on it for the past two years. This is the first one that is going to be totally, historically accurate. It's been a real headache, but it's been the most enjoyable work I've done in my life."

The Beatles: Rock Band is scheduled for a stand-alone September 9 release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.

Only two ways I'll buy this: a.) songs can be imported into RB2 like the RB1 songs were b.) the game lets to play your DLC within it (which would be minus the RB2 tracks on the other disc).

Jesus Christ I can't wait for this goddamn game. I don't know if there's anything else this year I'm actively anticipating this much. There's plenty of other stuff I look forward to playing, but not in the same tangible way as this one.
