Burnout Paradise Arrives on Steam

14
The PC release of Criterion's open-world racer Burnout Paradise is now on Steam, following through on last week's tease that it would hit the digital distribution platform. The Steam download is priced at $39.99, same as the retail version.

The PC version premiered in early February, packed with all of the downloadable content that had hit the consoles by that time, including the offline multiplayer Party Pack.

If you've yet to experience the game, be sure to check out the free trial version.

what are you on about? Criterion is nickle and diming people with their stupid car packs, it's like they're out to be some sort of virtual Hot Wheels company.

Well there's been a fair amount recently, with the UT 3 Titan pack, the TF2 scout update, the steamworks update for Red Orchestra, the big (free) Apocrypha expansion for Eve online and the upcoming L4D stuff.

But I'm liking the trend, that's for sure :)

Yeah, because a PC game with split screen but no LAN play is excellent support!!!

Damn it. Not split screen. Hot seat.

Pityful, just pityful. Criterion and my post.
