G.I. Joe Screenshots Bring Toys to (Virtual) Life

Developed by Double Helix, the action game hits PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP this August alongside the release of the theatrical film.

I know of two for the NES (I believe there was three). Taxon or whoever made/published it. I own the first one and I find it rather amazing.
I also played an arcade game years ago where you just keep running straight and shoot at things. It's been so long since I played it, but it was really tight...

It's too bad because this is a franchise that would lend itself really well to a class-based open world multiplayer game. And I mean that even though using all of those words together to describe a game makes me feel like a giant douche.
