Guitar Hero DS 'Modern Hits' Officially Announced
by Nick Breckon, Mar 05, 2009 12:15pm PSTActivision today formally announced Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits (DS), set for release this June.
The handheld game includes 28 master tracks from artists such as Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, Tenacious D, The Strokes and Weezer. Sum 41's "Still Waiting," Franz Ferdinand's "The Fallen," and Finger Eleven's "Paralyzer" were previously revealed by the ESRB.
The game will feature a "Fan Request" feature, essentially acting as a challenge mode based on the game's multiplayer modifiers. Playing an entire song in "Hyperspeed" or whammying every hold note in a song were given as examples of challenges.
