This latest trailer for Ubisoft Montreal's upcoming flight-action title Tom Clancy's HAWX goes behind the scenes to look at some of the satellite technology used to flesh out the game's battlegrounds.

Hey Nick HAWX is not developed in our Montreal's studio. As far as I know it's from Ubisoft Romania.

Cool, real satellite imagery used in a game. Too bad I am never buying a Ubisoft game ever again. They obviously feel PC gamers are not worth the effort. They fooled me for a year and went back to their old tricks. It's ok there's plenty of other good PC games out there.

Anyone else play the demo for this? The from-the-side camera had me baffled. Obviously I was missing something, as I couldn't find the 3rd-person, behind-the-plane camera option.

I really wish FSX looked like that. I was about to condemn Microsoft for not having as good visuals in their simulator, but then I realized that Flight Simulator models the entire EARTH, while Hawx only has to worry about very tiny areas in comparison. Besides, if Flight Simulator were that detailed it would take up 5 terabytes of HDD space.
