How far into the future is this? Why am I seeing EOTechs and LR300s with M209s? I guess I shouldn't be complaing. Its a much better alternative to large boxy weapons with beeeger boolits or Masamune Shirow's SCHVLOLBULLPUPS.

I would say this game has the most immersion and best graphics I've ever seen in a game. I've played probably ever major FPS there is, including Crysis and Crysis Warhead, and Killzone 2 definitely is amazing. The textures obviously aren't as sharp as Crysis, but the animations are just incredible. Also the use of lighting and environmental effects like wind and lightning just look astonishing. Also the 7.1 surround sound with uncompressed audio is ridiculous. I only have 5.1 but I can imagine it on a full setup. Can't wait for this game.

I hope the multiplayer lives up to the hype... The reviews are giving it really high scores so that's very promising.
