King Diamond, Lemmy Join Guitar Hero Metallica
by Chris Faylor, Feb 23, 2009 8:32am PSTThe various members of Metallica won't be the only virtual musicians to appear in Guitar Hero Metallica, as publisher Activision has confirmed that a recreation of Mercyful Fate singer King Diamond will show up on the virtual stage during select songs.
Diamond joins Motorhead vocalist and bassist Lemmy, who was previously confirmed.
Both bands contributed songs to the game's 49-song tracklist, with Mercyful Fate re-recording "Evil" and Motorhead offering a re-recorded version of "Ace of Spades."
Sporting full-band play, vocals and drums along with to guitar and bass, Guitar Hero Metallica hits PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 29. PS2 and Wii versions are expected in May.
