Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena Gets Release Date, Downloadable Demo Coming in March
by Chris Faylor, Feb 23, 2009 7:39am PSTStarbreeze Studios' atmospheric shooter The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (PC, PS3, X360) will ship to North American retailers on April 7, publisher Atari has announced. The European release will follow a few weeks later, on April 24.
Furthermore, downloadable PlayStaion 3 and Xbox 360 demos will arrive in March.
An enhanced remake of Starbreeze's 2004 PC and Xbox shooter The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, Dark Athena sports redone graphics, an entirely new single-player campaign in addition to the original, and several multiplayer modes.
