Morning Discussion

It's looking like February and early March will deliver some solid games, so that's exciting. Just off the top of my head, I'm looking forward to F.E.A.R. 2, Killzone 2, Empire: Total War, Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad and Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers. And this early in the morning, I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two games.

Not to mention all that game-expanding DLC: the Prince of Persia epilogue, more Fallout 3 quests, and those two episodes for Tomb Raider: Underworld. And let's not forget that Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead DLC is due "soon"...maybe by March?

  • I'm going to start the couch to 5k running plan (again). I have done it a couple of times, but always give up 5 or 6 weeks into it. I'm determined to stick with it this time and complete the entire thing, I want to be able to go for a run if I want to and to be able to keep up with our pharmacy school basketball games every Thursday starting in the spring.

    Anyone have any tips on it? I usually do week 1 twice just to get over the soreness. What do I need to be eating afterward? I usually have a big bowl of oatmeal about 10 or 15 minutes after the run, as I try to do it early in the morning right after I get up. Also, I have my Ipod Shuffle loaded with music, but any recommendations on running music would be appreciated!
