EA Maxis has released a convenient briefing for the new Spore expansion Galactic Adventures. This one's all about creating new game content, with a full mission editor allowing players to craft their own variety of planet-based minigames.

Call me when they combine all these addons and expansions into one big download for 29.99 and then I'll do it. Till then Spore will remain installed and never played due to the boring and menial gameplay that was offered.

As long as they're not fixing the defects of the original space game (and by that I mean your planets being attacked very fucking minute) then I'm not playing this game again. :/
Having tons of content on hand to explore is cool and all but only as long as you're not being constantly pestered..

Looks like something the world don't need.

And I don't like those "developers" who preach how awesome their game is, not mentioning how pissed and disappointed the most players were about several things.

This actually looks pretty good. It's almost like they're grafting Little Big Planet onto space stage. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like they're changing the mechanics of space stage, just adding more depth to the planets. At least they're keeping up with the central idea of user-created content and not just throwing out more overpriced parts packs.
