Ogre Battle Heading to Virtual Console, Says ESRB
by Nick Breckon, Jan 12, 2009 11:25am PSTOgre Battle: The March of the Black Queen, the original SNES ogre-based strategy title, will soon be available on the Wii Virtual Console, according to ratings board ESRB.
The ESRB website lists Ogre Battle for release on the Wii. No date yet.

The March of the Black Queen was the first in the Ogre Battle franchise. The game was renowned for its unique blend of overworld strategy and RPG combat.
Fun fact: Did you know that Black Queen's title was entirely derived from two songs--titled "Ogre Battle" and "March of the Black Queen"--on rock group Queen's second album? Now you know!
