Microsoft's Robbie Bach today announced that a demo of Ensemble's RTS Halo Wars (X360) will hit Xbox Live on February 5.

Halo Wars hits the Xbox 360 on March 3.

I'll play the demo for sure, and I hope it impresses.

Sadly I don't have high hopes though, forcing a controller on an RTS has never panned out.

I'll play it as quick as possible one play-through to get a taste of it but I just can't bring myself to play demos long as I feel like there's no progress being made and you'll just end up playing that part again in the retail game anyway so... I guess what I'm saying is demos are grand for seeing where a game is headed or what it will be like if it's close to release but they are horrible time wasters when you aren't completing anything for the game.. save for the Bad Company demo where you could unlock things for the retail version.
