Battlestations: Pacific Attacks in Trailer, Screenshots
by Chris Faylor, Jan 06, 2009 10:12am PSTEidos Studios Hungary has fired a salvo of new media, offering up a trailer and screenshots from its sea-and-air WWII combat game Battlestations: Pacific.
Allowing players to fight in World War II from the perspective of Japan or the United States, Pacific is slated to arrive on PC and Xbox 360 in the vague spring timeframe.

Granted, submarines could get in closer, but I would bet that the scale of battle would allow for some very crowded and frantic battles.
It'll be interesting to see how they balance the scale of the battle with the action in order to make it fun. Either way I'll probably pick this one up, only because after reading that book I'm hooked on WWII naval warfare.

As long as I can shoot down airplanes with the main ship guns like I did in BF1942 :)
