Deus Ex Co-creator Working on 'Epic Mickey' Game?
by Nick Breckon, Dec 22, 2008 5:00pm PSTNew concept art and information obtained by Gamasutra indicates that Warren Spector's Disney-owned Junction Point Studios may be working on a steampunk-styled Mickey Mouse game.
Spector, one of the co-creators of Deus Ex, has already confirmed that his studio is working on a game in collaboration with Disney Feature Animation and Pixar.
According to Gamasutra, the project carries the rather blunt codename of "Epic Mickey." The publication described early concept art as having a "distinctly shadowed, steampunk vibe."
"Another sketch included a surreal seashore invasion scene, in which machines wearing the faces of the Seven Dwarfs deposit old-fashioned renditions of Disney characters onto the beach with mechanical hands," wrote Gamasutra.
No other details on the project have been confirmed, though a rumor out of 1UP earlier this year pegged the game as a platformer.

Actually... If this looks half as dementedly fucking amazing at it sounds, I'd buy it.
I've got a level 52 talking duck with no pants, plunger with +2 against roosters, quackcall racial that annoys the fuck out of every enemy within 20 yards.

This whole thing sounds weird but strangely intriguing. Let's see what they can do with this.
