GOG Adds Oddworld Series

The folks over at GOG.com, the online store of choice for old PC titles, today announced that two games from developer Oddworld Inhabitants' series of platformers have been added to its library.

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus are now available for DRM-free purchase, at a price of $9.99 each.

"We believe that digital distribution is the future of gaming for both developers and gamers, making GOG.com an ideal fit for Oddworld," said president of Oddworld Inhabitants Larry Shapiro.

never beat the first oddworld but loved it, beat the second, more forgiving, oddworld and loved it. Its great to see these revived. Except for the low res they run at the graphics are amazing and have a charm to them not found in many other games. GOG is looking pretty awesome right now.

A friend asked what I wanted for Christmas and I told him the Oddworld pack on steam. However with the extras you get, not to mention DRM free, I will have to ask that he buys it from GOG instead!

I want to see Arcanum get pushed to the top. I own the hard copy of it, but I would buy GoG's just for the fact that I would have a stable no-cd version of the game. Any hacked .exe's I have tried, just screw up the menu layout and such...
