Off-Topic, but you never see people clamoring for a PC port of console games, at least as much as you do for console gamers saying they want a console port of a PC game.

Therefore, I submit that I want a PC port of Killzone. Please :(

Killzone sucked. Why would you want a port of it?

People say this, and I know the reviews are terrible as I recently looked back at them and noticed the media tore it a new one - however, I remember vastly enjoying the first game when I rented it on PS2 years ago. I don't honestly remember much bad to say other than it having a horrific frame rate on PS2, I just remember it being a lot of fun to play. Am I the only person who remembers enjoying the first one?

Wouldn't playing it on a PS3 fix the framerate?

I thought the art design was terrific but the actual gameplay sucked. You'd continually get stuck when moving through narrow paths(watch out for that stray piece of debris), the environment was completely non-interactive, you couldn't jump(I hate fps where you can't jump), and the AI was stupid.

Killzone sucked because it was a shooter on a PS2. It had solid design, it was just released on a terrible system for FPS's

Honestly I think that's probably partly because console ports have a bad history on PC. Although since several games have proved that's not much of a factor any more, I think it's probably also to do with PC-exclusive gamers not wanting to look like they care about anything on those faggy console toys for kids arggjhgkglfdjfd

I've kinda given up on this stance. I just wish we could all get along and have good ports for everyone.

And then I can ride a pony to mars! :)

Some games have had good ports, Chronicles of Riddick on pc worked flawlessly for me back when I owned a mere Radeon 9600. The Mass Effect PC Port was great, it fixed a lot of issues in the 360 version and ran damn smooth on my system. To be honest I can't think of any other great ports from 360 to PC. I can think of a lot of PC games that were ported to consoles eventually. And now we'll end up with a console Crysis, just wait. It will also look like shit.
