Morning Friday, nice to see you around.

Last night, Nick and I discovered that there are few things greater than puking all over your boss, or pouncing on top of him and clawing him to death. Even if you hold nothing against your boss--we have nothing against Steve, really!--it is surprisingly cathartic.

On a separate note, Left 4 Dead sure is fun.

Oh, and Mr. Xbox 360? Could you and Ms. Tomb Raider try not to freeze up so much? I didn't enjoy redoing that whole level just because you two couldn't play nice. And twice within 30 minutes? Neither of you had problems before last night, what's going on?

Oh no, don't give me that. Don't even think about red ringing, you hear me mister?

Mmo and Lotr fans if you haven't played Lotro you really should give it a try. Moria is now open and you can buy everything you need to play for less than the cost of most games.
The Moria expansion added 2 new classes and several new regions to explore.

Lotro follows the story of the fellowship as they make their journey through Middle Earth. You aid them both directly and indirectly in keeping the One ring from the forces of evil.
Through out the game you interact with a number of major characters from the stories.

All you Lorto vets out there come back we miss you. Turbine has made some small changes that really improve the interface.

We are on the Silverlode server, send a tell to Umbr or Umbrune and I will invite you to the kinship.

I currently have 3 buddie codes to give away. They will allow you to try Lotro for 14 days. To get one shack-message me with a character from Lord of the Rings that is not part of the fellowship.

  please explain, in three paragraphs or more, why this game is more fun / better / has neater loot than Everquest circa 2002 (after the Kunark and Velious expansions). Also: how often are there big raids (15+ person, 3+ hours, killing a dragon or clearing a zone or whatever).
