Killzone 2 Release Date Announced

Guerilla Games' anticipated PlayStation 3 shooter Killzone 2 will arrive in North America on February 27, 2009--over three and a half years after its E3 2005 debut.

The date was announced this evening on an episode of G4's X-Play, which featured a segment on the game and an appearance by managing producer Kyle Shubel.

I get to be kyle's biggest fanboy... i used to work with him at a company years ago. He was our producer there, now he's gone and been the producer for SotC and Killzone 2. Crazy!

1up had some control issues in playing the beta...I hope they fix it, as I hate using a gamepad for FPS's to begin with. Why they can't give us Mouse and Keyboard support on the PS3 for this is beyond me...at least for the single player, it would be great.
