The Shacknews Thanksgiving Thank-you Giveaway: Win Fable 2, Fallout 3, and a PC-themed Grand Prize
by Nick Breckon, Nov 27, 2008 1:37pm PSTShacknews has a lot to be thankful for this year, and you're a big part of it.
Faylor and I wanted to express our appreciation for making this the best year of Shack ever--and since we're not the sentimental types, we're just giving away a lot of stuff.
Up for grabs are brand new copies of Quantum of Solace (PC), Call of Duty: World at War (PC), Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Collector's Edition (PC), and Fable II Limited Edition (360).
In addition, we also have a giant grand prize to hand out (pictured above), which includes the following: Fallout 3 (PC), Quantum of Solace (PC), a slick Microsoft keyboard, a Sidewinder mouse (sorry) with handy cord weight (awesome), a solid FUNC mousepad, and a cushy Microsoft gaming headset.
How to enter: Simply head to your Shacknews profile (at the top of the page, or at http://www.shacknews.com/profile/YourHandle), click on the big "game library" tab, and hit that red "add game" button three times. Once you have three games added to your library, just post in the comment thread of this article with the platforms you own. If you already have games in your library, you're all set to post right away.
We'll run the contest through the end of the holiday weekend to give everyone a chance to enter, and then we'll funnel your comments into a random drawing and contact the winners. Thanks to Activision for Quantum of Solace and Call of Duty, and thanks to Microsoft for Fable 2 and the Games for Windows grand prize. And thanks to the Shacknews community for still being the best around.
