Call of Duty: World at War PC Mod Tools Released

Now available at FileShack is the mod toolset for Call of Duty: World at War.

Tucked away within the 1.10GB archive is everything owners of the PC version will need to start making custom content, such as levels and new game modes.

Developed by Treyarch, the wartime shooter hit PC, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 earlier in the month, accompanied by the Rebellion-crafted PS2 version and n-Space's DS edition.

I'm enjoying the game but the multiplayer just doesn't seem to have the crisp feel of CoD4.

Is this the Mod tools that make the game actually decent? Cause that would be great. Mental Note - Never purchase any PC game made by the chumps at Treytarch, who have no idea how to make a PC version of their games.

Eurogamer reports CoD5 doesnt perform well on mid-range systems and runs worse than Crysis, can anyone confirm? I use an Intel QX6700 with a GF8800GTX and 2GB, and it ran CoD4 with all bells'n whistles + AF and AA turned on. How will it run CoD5? Any chance to get 40-50 fps on 1920x1200, or do I need to upgrade to a GTX280 first?
