Jagged Alliance, Sacred Join Catalog at Good Old Games

10
The turn-based tactical RPG Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games (PC) and hack-and-slash Sacred have joined the roster at Good Old Games, the DRM-free digital distribution service recently launched by publisher CD Projekt.

Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games, released in 1995, was the second entry in the Jagged Alliance series and was developed by Sir-Tech. Like the 1994 original, the game offered a special-ops spin on tactical RPGs, featuring turn-based combat from a top-down perspective.

Sacred Gold is the expanded edition of Sacred, the 2004 hack-and-slash from Ascaron. The game features 8 character classes and includes the Sacred Underworld expansion, which added more quests and 2 classes.

Good Old Games specializes in low-price, DRM-free versions of older PC games. All games are reworked for compatibility with Windows XP and Vista, and can be downloaded an unlimited number of times once purchased. The roster of games has passed 40 with continued releases promised for the future.

Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games and Sacred Gold are available now for $9.95 each at GOG.com.

Whhaaaat??? I mean sacred was good, but being around less than 5 years certainly doesn't mean its a
good old game. Maybe its just semantics

It's ironic that the title is now DRM free. When it shipped it was one of the most draconian DRM'd titles ever released.

I think it's fair to classify it as a "Good Old Game" if it's extremely hard or impossible to find in stores.

      Hey, it's $10 bucks. Don't complain :)
...that said, it's the been the same price on Steam for a while.

I'm considering getting it after a demo run through, and was thinking about that; I guess it's gog because it's DRM free + has the full soundtrack, both at the same price.
