Call of Duty: World at War PC Beta Now on FileShack
by Blake Ellison, Oct 28, 2008 12:00pm PDTFallout 3 may be today's biggest release in PC gaming, but a free multiplayer beta for Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War comes in a close second.
Offering the same three levels as the Xbox Live beta, the PC beta is open to everyone. All players need to do is sign up at the Call of Duty website to get a key.
Once that's done, download the 845 MB beta from FileShack.
There are no limits to how many players can join the beta; rather, the keys from the Call of Duty website are used to create individual profiles and find friends more easily.
Players are advised that the beta won't last long, as the finished game drops for PC, PS2, PS3, 360, Wii and DS on November 11.

Here is how to get a COD:WaW Beta Code:

2. Copy and Paste this URL in your browser:

3. On this site RE-REGISTER
yes re-register. For some reason the webmaster/ Treyarch does not have the two databases sync'd together.
4. You will get a confirmation email. Click the Activation link in the email.
5. It will then register your new login for the beta site and give you a CDKEy in your URL bar and on the activation page.Write down the CDKey or save the HTML page.
6. Install the beta and use the CDKey you just received. VOILA!!!

The dogs are an awesome addition and the game plays great! I just hope the vehicles don't screw the whole thing up...
Definitely on my radar now. I was dreading the game because Treyarch was making it, but I've been floored by the work they've put into it. Bravo Treyarch, bravo.
