Shack PSA: Age of Booty Releases Wednesday for $10
by Blake Ellison, Oct 13, 2008 9:22am PDTShacknews readers are reminded that Certain Affinity's plundering-and-pillaging tile-based strategy game Age of Booty will hit Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday.
Published by Capcom, the game was once known as Plunder and carries the affectionate nickname "Pimps at Sea" for taking its inspiration from a long-running inside joke at Halo developer Bungie. Certain Affinity was founded by Bungie alumnus Max Hoberman.
The aquatic-pimping title will hit Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday for a price of 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Release for the PlayStation Store will come the following day at the same price, and a PC version hitting digital distribution services including Steam will arrive later, also at $10.
