Microsoft has announced that the debut of the New Xbox Experience, including the updated dashboard and other features, will occur on November 19.

The launch will be a simultaneous around the world, according to Joystiq.

Looks like fun. Yeah, some er, "hardcores" will rag on it for being too much like the Wii, but I see this as way more than the Wii. The Mii's or Avatars or whatever are about where it ends, really.

I'm especially looking for the copy to HDD functionality.

Sigh. I kinda want an Xbox, but really, not my style. I'd not use it much, I'm used to being able to game and alt tab over to other applications. (Besides, I don't own a TV. I could maybe probably hook it up to a computer monitor and speakers, though......)
