Taito Bringing Space Invaders, Arkanoid to Xbox Live

Developer Taito will bring the classic video game remakes Space Invaders Extreme and Arkanoid Live to the Xbox Live Arcade this winter.

Taito previously released Space Invaders Extreme on the Nintendo DS, along with a version of Arkanoid titled Arkanoid DS.

Arkanoid Live (360) will include 120 stages of retro-style block-bashing, along with online co-op and versus modes, according to Kotaku.

    I haven't played the new Arkanoid, but Space Invaders Extreme was fucking hot. I can't wait to play this one in hi-def.

      Arkanoid and Space Invaders Extreme are both awesome titles for the DS.
