Mercenaries 2 DLC Trailer Shows Explosions, Bird Suit
by Blake Ellison, Oct 08, 2008 11:21am PDTWith Pandemic's dangerously flammable open-world game Mercenaries 2: World in Flames set to receive a patch soon for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, publisher Electronic Arts has sent along a trailer commemorating the occasion.
Entitled "Total Payback," the update adds an undisclosed amount of explosions as well as cheat codes and six new playable characters. It drops on October 13 on Xbox 360 and October 23 on PlayStation 3. Paid DLC will follow in November.

Rented this a couple times from Blockbuster and I'm still not done with it - nearing the 30 hour mark, too. Not nearly as awful as the reviews led me to believe. Granted, it could've been great, and I don't use the airstrikes nearly as much as I would've if I didn't have to be five feet away from my target to use them, but still - pretty amusing for what it is.

we were trying to capture an outpost, the helo lands on the roof and drops the soldiers off, where they proceed to stand there and not go anywhere, meaning nobody's going to try to capture the outpost now. so i grappled the transport helo, stole it, and then used its tail rotor to 'sweep' the soldiers off the roof, lol
