First Cave Story Wii Screenshots Released

As Daisuke Amaya prepares to release his acclaimed 2D PC action-adventure game Cave Story on Wii, screenshots of the downloadable WiiWare title have emerged.

Packing new content exclusive to the Wii version, Cave Story and its Metroid-like antics are slated to arrive later this year. No price point has been announced.

i really enjoyed this game on the PSP until the end boss sequence. i think i got to the last st age of it and couldnt beat it :(

probably one of the best games I've played in the past few years.

I don't own a Wii but id love to have it on some mobile system, although currently my only one is an iPhone and I just don't think cave story lends itself to touchscreen controls.

I havent gotten any of the downloadable stuff for the Wii yet, but this is pretty much a must buy.
